🚀 Introducing Document Type Management in Procys!
We’re excited to introduce Document Type Management, a powerful new feature that gives users greater control over how they structure and manage their documents within the Procys platform. With this update, users can create and customize Document Types to fit their unique business needs, making document processing even more seamless and efficient.
What’s New?
📄 DocType Manager Screen – A dedicated space where users can create and manage Document Types, along with their associated fields.
🛠 Customizable Fields – Define fields for both Header and Line sections of a document to extract precise information.
⚡ Predefined vs. Custom Fields – Select from out-of-the-box fields or create entirely new fields tailored to your needs.
🔍 Enhanced Search & Bulk Creation – Quickly find specific fields with the search bar and create multiple fields at once to save time.
How It Works
✅ Accessing the DocType Manager – A new Document Types option in the left navigation panel directs users to the DocType Manager screen, where they can create a document type during company setup or later.
✅ Creating a New Document Type – Users can define a custom document type from scratch, ensuring it aligns perfectly with their document processing requirements.
✅ Managing Fields – Click the Manage Fields option to add or edit fields for a document type.
✅ Adding New Fields – Click Add a Field to specify field details, including the field name, section (Header/Line), type (text, number, date), and description.
✅ Reusing vs. Creating New Fields – Users can reuse predefined fields or create new fields with the same name but customized descriptions.
Why This Matters?
With Document Type Management, Procys users now have complete control over how their documents are structured, improving data extraction accuracy and streamlining workflows. Whether you need to standardize fields across multiple documents or create unique data points for better automation, this feature puts flexibility and efficiency at your fingertips.
